CARE FOR MY WELFUR
"Care for my WELFUR" is an advocacy ad campaign developed by researchers, Fine arts students from Technological University of the Philippines - Manila. It is conducted to understand the current state of stray animals in the community (particularly in Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City) including their living condition and impact. The researchers then crafted a compelling campaign that emphasized the importance of street shelters, evoking emotions such as empathy and responsibility through poster series. A crucial aspect of the campaign was collaborating with a non-profit organization, local government units, particularly the barangay hall and city veterinarian. The researchers engage with these authorities, sharing campaign objectives, and the benefits of street shelters.

In developing a poster series, the goal was to design an impactful advocacy ad campaign that would raise awareness and mobilize the community towards positive action. Recognizing the power of visual communication, the researchers decided to create a three-part poster series. It has different views and goals for the audience to easily understand the message of each series. The first (1st) series of posters portrayed the situations and conditions of stray animals on the streets, with the goal of giving the audience an idea and to raise awareness. As for the second (2nd) series of posters, which addressed their basic needs such as food, care, and medicine, the goal was to remind the audience. Lastly, for the third (3rd) series of posters, the main objective of this study is to introduce the idea of the development of street shelters. These posters were designed to convey the importance of street shelters for stray cats and dogs. By using compelling visuals and persuasive messaging, the researchers aimed to evoke empathy and encourage the community to get involved in supporting the cause.
